Eric has donated a pair of autographed blue jeans to the National Hemophilia Foundation's Celebrity Blue Jeans for Genes Auction. The size 34x31 was sold last December 3rd, on Ebay for $ 577.
Founded in 1948, the National Hemophila Foundation is dedicated for finding cures for hemophilia, Von Willebrand disease, and all other bleeding disorders, and to preventing and treating the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and research.

The memoirs of Eric Clapton, a tell-all story that has been one of the most sought manuscripts in publishing, will be released by Doubleday in 2007.
According to Doubleday, Clapton "will write frankly about every aspect of his personal and musical odyssey, addressing everything that is known about his life as well as much that is not."
The book, currently untitled, will be timed to a North American concert tour and to the release of a boxed set retrospective of Clapton's music.

Eric has renewed his recording contract with Reprise Records, extending his nearly 25-year relationship with the label.
