Clapton is said to have joined Roger Waters in studio. The project, called ALAS
to support poor children in Latin America, consists of a 15 minutes long song written by Water and featuring Latin American artists such as Gustavo Cerati and Pedro Aznar. "Eric walked in with a borrowed guitar and knocked out the most amazing Guitar solo you have heard. One take, first time listening to the song. That's all it takes for him. Pure genius. What at incredible honor and delight" said Gustavo Celis, mix engineer. The song, a reminiscent of "Comfortably Numb", is said to be released in the near future.

Eric launched, last night 11 may, his mini Spring Tour at 02 in Dublin. The leaving of Doyle Bramhall II and the great come back of Andy Fairweather-Low gave the chance to our guitarist to modify the setlist. Note, 15 years after, the return of 'Anything for your love' and among the novelties, 'Anything for you' or 'Not dark yet' from Bob Dylan's repertoire.
